Derrick loved technology and storytelling enough to turn them into an occupation. What started as opinionated beginnings as a journalist read by millions in South Africa’s largest tech publications turned into a 15-year Marketing career growing tech startups and scaleups across Europe, the US and Africa.

By day he runs Gossamer, a strategic marketing agency. By night, he runs his mouth as a fiction author and comic. By now he should probably think about running his first marathon.
